THE RAVELL'D SLEEVE // A journal unique among knitting publications, The Ravell'd Sleeve is devoted to the technical aspects of knitting, construction, design and fit as they relate to couture knitting. It is intended to continue and expand both the educational and design components of The Couture Knitting Workshop. Available by subscription only, the complete journal consists of four issues, each of which examines in depth a technique or element of courture knitting, explores a practice, tenet or theory fundamental to this approach to knitting, and, beginning with the second issue, offers a pattern for a small project that serves as an exercise in the couture knitting technique that is the prime focus of the issue. |
